Exciting News!

The Lord is soo abundantly good! Stephen and I had a pretty big day yesterday. I took off work for my dentist appointment and to also get to spend time with my hubby. He had his final job interview with an insurance company that pays twice as much, better work environment, better benefits, and most definitely better tuition reimbursement program. They practically offer everything to them! Let me just say the benefits are AMAZING!! And the schedule is better. He would be on a rotation for Saturdays, but that would only be approximately every 5 weeks. Praise God!

When we were out yesterday, we stopped by our bank to check the status of our home loan. We were APPROVED!!!! WoooHooo! That is a phonebook off our heads. I think it's becoming more real now.

So after his interview and finding out we got the home loan, we went to our Wednesday night church service. When the service was over, the insurance company called and offered Stephen the job!! They say they normally take about 2-3 days to get back with people, but they really loved Stephen!!

Yay Me!

I finally started packing last night. There is a stack of 6 or more boxes in our spare bedroom. You can actually walk around in there now! Amazing. Packing for me is torturous. But, I do enjoy it more when I can have a movie or tv series playing. Last night I had X-Files Season 1 playing. Love that show! And I also had a can of coke too....lol :)

I can't say that I am happy as this girl, but I am getting there. Actually, seeing her so happy packing makes me sick. But, I just want to be in our home! That is the goal. I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel! I was talking with a fellow co-worker today saying if writing "Misc" on every box would be considered labelling a box. LOL.

Blessings Unlimited

As I was going through my daily routine of blog reading, a blog that I don't normally look at posted about a company called Blessings Unlimited. The setup is very similar to Pampered Chef and Avon. You can become an independant consultant and/or you can host a party and get free or discounted items.

When I flipped through their online catalog, it truly inspired me. This was the kind of thing that I wanted to do and to sell. I want to be a blessing to other people through my creativity. And to also be an encouragement. So, that was nice to see a company like this. I want something that is a cross between Blessings Unlimited and Tom Shoes. I want to be able to make a positive difference both locally and internationally if the Lord wills it.

I know the Lord is stirring something within me with this. Maybe I will share this in the near future. :) But in the meantime, I also have pictures of a couple of my favorite Blessings Unlimited items. The Door Knocker says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty One. Psalm 91:1 NIV".

Enjoy and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Goal Accomplished: Crocheting

I am soooo proud of myself! I finished one of my goals for 2011. Last week I finished my two 2-hour courses on how to crochet. We made 2 dishclothes. One square and one round. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! We had a great group of ladies and thankfully I was not the only one who was left-handed. Ha ha. The store owner, Sandy, is an incredibly patient and patient lady. Not to mention she loves God and runs her shop under Christian values.
I look forward to fine-tuning this new skill and using it to bless others. Hopefully soon I can take their knitting class. Yikes! :)

Home Inspection

I just got off the phone with Stephen in regards to our home inspection. It looks like everything is in working order! In fact, it passed with flying colors! All of the major items had been replaced or repaired within the past 5-6 years. That is pretty darn awesome! Which means, we won't even need to do anything to the house in like 10 years.

All we are waiting on now is approval from the bank and to get insurance on the home. :)

I Am Not Counting....

Nope, not at all. I am not counting down the

21 Days
521 Hours
31290 Minutes
1877435 seconds
left until our house closing!!!

But you know what? I have to because I haven't even started packing yet! Yikes!

Desprite times, call for desperate measures. I don't know what those measures are yet, but I will eventually figure it out. :)

Coming Soon: Tiny Tillia!

Last night I we went to our monthly Avon Sales meeting. At the meeting, our District Manager, Debbie, shared some VERY exciting news about a new line Avon is coming out with.

On April 12th, Tiny Tillia by Avon is launching their first ever mom and baby line!! We got to preview the product magazine and I will say, these are some of the CUTEST products for inexpensive I have ever seen!

They have everything ranging from baby clothes, shampoo, body wash, burp cloths, baby bedding and decor, and even products to pamper that mom-to-be! Oh, and they have the most adorable diaper bag! I am definitely going to get that one when the time comes.

Not only can you get things in a super cute gift box, but most of the products can be personalized with your baby's name.

If you would like to check out the preview video for Tiny Tillia, please click here.
